The facility Scott built includes six (6) sleeping units (12 beds total), commercial kitchen, office, private meeting rooms and gathering spaces.

This three-storey wood-framed construction has 48 suites of 1-2 bedroom design plus it was designed to accommodate two additions of three storeys in the future. It boasts a full-size multi-functional kitchen and dining area, activity room, library, resident’s lounge, treatment room, bathing room, salon, laundry facilities, and a number of offices and meeting rooms. The partial basement houses the mechanical/electrical rooms as well as kitchen storage, a shop room for maintenance and a staff locker room. Finishes throughout include ceramic floor and wall tiles, marmoleum and sheet vinyl flooring, carpet, knock-down stipple ceiling, natural light exposures and is painted in a variety of warm colors identifying each level.

Parkland Lodge was an older facility of multiple wings. Scott worked with local trades to demolish and rebuild one wing as well as renovate another resulting in a new 3-storey wood-framed addition. It consists of 105 suites, gathering spaces, administration areas, library and support areas. To expedite the schedule, this project was broken down into three phases and Scott cycled trades and scopes of work in sequence. This project won the Red Deer Construction Association award for “Project of the Year Over $7.5 Million Category 2020”

Completed in five (5) stages, Scott utilized prefabricated modular construction to expedite the schedule of this Seniors Lodge. Its homey atmosphere is evident throughout the 20 independent living suites and 80 studio suites designed for SL4 and SL4D Levels of Care. The facility is well planned and includes a pub, bistro, yoga studio, hair salon, workshop, arts & crafts, chapel, indoor garden, kitchen, family dining room, 2 family meeting rooms and a large administration office area.

Constructed with conventional steel and precast concrete, the comprehensive design of the New Sarepta Fire Station includes four double bays for Emergency Apparatus and an AHS Ambulance. Supporting these are an industrial washer room, gear storage, residential washer room, breathing apparatus room, mechanical room and hose drying area. The Administration Area features a training room, workout centre, lounge area, kitchen / dining area, outside patio, locker, shower, change rooms and a dispatch office with reception area.

This uniquely designed facility features includes a 48’ tall precast hose tower for drying hoses. It comes with internal stairs, catwalk system and electric hoist. The fire hall itself is a combined structure of a Butler Engineered Building System and conventional steel. It is of post-disaster construction with structural slab and emergency generator.
