Scott Builders designed and built two large aircraft hangars for Air Spray, a forestry fire fighting company serving Western Canada. Phase 1 saw the construction of a 52,000 sq. ft. hangar, which included a two-storey office, specialty workshops and a paint room. Phase 2, two years later, a 50,000 sq. ft. hangar was built, which included a hangar door of 100’ x 37’. Both hangars are used for the maintenance and storage of a number of fire-fighting aircraft including the four-engine Corvoir and B-29 models.

This hangar has an impressive 150’ clearspan and was constructed using a Butler Engineered Building system. It has two hangar doors at 120’ x 28’ high. The office/lounge area is beautifully finished and well-designed for the comfort of passengers.

Built in two phases, the office has high-end finishes including imported Italian marble floor tiles and it was designed to accommodate  a 3^rd floor addition in the future. Phase 2: The hangar is impressive with its 125’ clearspan Butler Engineered Building system for exceptional freedom on interior movement. It also features two 100’ wide x 28’ high hangar doors.

This project consisted of two facilities; a two-storey office and hangar. While the office was constructed of conventional steel, the hangar is a Butler Engineered Building system and was finished off with attractive thermal insulated wall panels.

Consisting of 3 facilities, this project included 2 privately-owned hangars plus a third hangar featuring architecture reminiscent of the 40’s and 50’s era. Built for Central Aviation, it features an attractive main floor office space plus a mezzanine.

This project involves two building structures; an office and a hangar. The 2 storey office facility is conventional steel and accommodates smaller workshops on the main floor (i.e. upholstery shop, propeller shop, etc.) and administration/office functions above. The hangar is a Butler Engineered Building system complete with a six-section 100’ x 28’ bi-parting, rolling electric hangar door.

This facility is located on airport land. The floor is designed to withstand an impressive 120,000lb. load. In-slab scales and scissor lifts were also installed for unloading bulk cargo.
