Valleyview Town Hall is designed and constructed to Passive House Plus certification (by PHI Germany Standards), that consumes up to 90% less heating and cooling energy than traditionally designed conventional buildings. Positioned on the site to maximize sun exposure helps to heat the building in the winter months while window shades keep it cool in the summer. This two storey facility includes offices, meeting rooms and support areas. It is the first Passive House certified commercial building completed in Alberta.
