About the project
Scott Builders transformed this 1940s historic building into modern office space for five City of Red Deer departments while carefully preserving its heritage character. The renovation created 31 offices, 67 workstations, and 13 meeting rooms through innovative solutions like DIRTT modular wall systems and Virtual Reality planning. Despite challenges of an occupied building, limited structural information, and COVID-related material shortages, our team delivered this complex project under budget in just 10 months while maintaining the iconic exterior.
