• Post-Secondary Degree or Masters in a business-related discipline preferably finance
• Recognized professional accounting designation
• 10+ years in similar or related position in commercial/industrial construction
• Proven experience and ability in planning, scheduling, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and estimating
• Applied knowledge of cost engineering/cost control
• Strong knowledge of the “Earned Value Management” principles
• Ability to produce, read and modify schedules and scheduling curves/reports
• Proven strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly identify and articulate issues
• Proven problem solver with sound judgment who accepts ownership and accountability
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
• Detail oriented and customer focused
• Strong organizational skills utilizing well-developed time management techniques to consistently meet
timelines and commitments
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
• Advanced knowledge of SAP
• Flexibility in working periods of overtime as required
• Demonstrated commitment and adherence to safety practices
• Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
