WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT BEING PART OF THE SCOTT BUILDERS TEAM?

What I love most about being part of the SBI team is the strong sense of collaboration and community that touches all aspects of our work. We’re not just a group of individuals; we are a cohesive unit of great people who thrive on working together. The team-oriented approach allows each member to come together, building off one another’s strengths to deliver great projects that enrich the communities we who work in.

WHAT INITIALLY DREW YOU TO THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY & WHAT MADE YOU STAY?

I initially chose to go into construction because I was looking for a career path that was stable and would allow me to grow over time. I initially started with a residential home builder which inspired me to move into commercial construction with Scott Builders. This transition provided the opportunity to take on larger, more challenging projects. I’ve stayed in construction because it feeds my passion for building and the industry is always changing and presenting new challenges enabling me to continue grow and further develop my skills.

WHEN YOU’RE NOT HARD AT WORK, WHERE CAN WE FIND YOU?

When I’m not hard at work, you can find me enjoying the great outdoors. I love camping with family, hunting and spending time at the lake. When I’m not camping you can still find me outside trying new recipes on my smoker and cooking for family & friends.

SOMEONE YOU ADMIRE? (OR YOUR HERO)

My grandfather left a lasting impression on my growing up and as an adult. He lived a long, good life, and worked hard to instill good values in his family. I’ve always looked up to him and have worked hard to apply the lessons he instilled in me.
