This member-owned head office has a 2-storey office area with ample space for meetings, training, mapping, reference library, field technician’s workstations and space for future growth. The Service Shop houses six bays and a drive-thru wash bay. The project was finished off with a 5 acre fenced storage yard.

Cross Country is a full industrial supply business offering equipment rentals, geosynthetics and supplies to a multitude of industries across Canada. When they required a new facility in Spruce Grove, Scott constructed this office, warehouse and shop.

AltaLink Janet Service Centre

AltaLink is one of Canada’s largest electricity transmission companies and Scott constructed their new Janet Service Centre. Servicing huge utility transformers in their high voltage Servicing Bay required two 80 ton cranes operating from inside to outside. The conventional steel project also required a 2 acre retention pond and pump house for fire protection.

Built in a T-shape to accommodate Atco’s needs, this building’s design meets the objectives of the Incentive Program (CRIP) of Natural Resources Canada and the North American Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) program. Scott worked closely with Atco’s Department Heads during the design phase resulting in an exceptionally functional and attractive facility.

Atlas Growers is a Canadian medical and recreational cannabis producer of pharmaceutically-viable cannabis flower and products. Featured here is their state-of-the-art, controlled environment facility that Scott constructed in 2018. It is one of 6 grow operation facilities that Scott Builders has completed in recent years.

Scott used Butler Engineered Building systems to construct these two facilities. Building A has a clearspan of 180’ and one 10-ton overhead crane. Building B has a clearspan of 112’ and a 5-ton overhead crane. Both buildings were completed simultaneously.

This facility includes a sub-zero (-20°C) freezer and loading bay with 11 loading docks. Structurally, it has a piles and gradebeam foundation, insulated slab-on-grade with hydronic heating subbase, steel structure with efficient insulated metal wall panels.

Saputo choose Scott to work closely with them to build a 30,000 sq. ft. addition as well as complete renovations to their very busy, fully operating Saskatoon facility. This was the second project Scott handled for Saputo with the first being a 2,620 sq. ft. addition to their Red Deer plant. This same Scott team has gone on to assist Saputo with their Edmonton plant expansion plans.

When Canada Malting required a new building, Scott provided them with a pre-engineered metal building structure as well as all of the foundations for the bins, which was extensive. An expansion to the original facility is currently underway. Its complete with a main building of 4,684 sq. ft. plus a scale building of 2,646 sq. ft. There is a doghouse on top of the main building which houses an overhead crane. The mechanical and electrical systems of this project are all explosion proof.
