Project Challenges 

• Budget Pressure: The project launched over budget, threatening to stall momentum.
• Remote Location: Valleyview’s rural setting required creative solutions for logistics, housing, and workforce planning.
• Structural Complexity: A suspended concrete slab had to support large pools and a fieldhouse—combined with a 30-foot air handling system requiring unconventional sequencing.
• Specialized Scope: As Scott’s first aquatic facility, the project demanded precise coordination with pool experts.
• Architectural Instability: The original firm was acquired mid-project, resulting in five different architects over the build.
• Site Constraints: The agricultural site required deep earthwork, customized drainage, and piling to ensure long-term stability.

Innovative Sequencing: We pre-excavated pools and constructed the suspended slab before erecting the steel structure—unconventional moves that solved site and water management challenges.

• Six-lane fieldhouse track and fitness center
